A Gold Star Family is a family that has lost a loved one in combat. Voiced by Linda Ambard, a Gold Star spouse, this video is a solemn honor to the more than 2,900 Air Force Gold Star Family members. A person dies twice. Once when they breathe their last breath, and once when their name is never spoken again. They are never forgotten. We remember them as the ones we loved. We remember them as heroes.
