When people call Pizza Hut, they sometimes get put on hold. Then…they hang up. To prevent future missed orders, we decided to turn our hold music into a ballad about chicken wings, which just so happens to be one of our more profitable pizza add-ons. With Craig Robinson on the keys, Pizza Hut’s hold music quickly went viral when @noraeinhellll asked to be put on hold just so she could listen to the music. That video received over three million views, resulting in national coverage, generating over 605 million impressions for $0 in paid media. That’s music to our ears.
